Here at Mas Ass Acres our mission is to Promote and Celebrate American Mammoth Jackstock and Spotted Miniature donkeys.

In 1989, I became infatuated with Spotted Miniature donkeys and began a successful breeding program. As my passion for donkeys grew I had my first love affair with a Mammoth donkey: the legendary American Mammoth Jackstock "Mirage". In 1998 Mirage became the foundation of my Mammoth Jackstock breeding program at our ranch" Mas Ass Acres" in Western Washington.

At Mas Ass Acres, we have attempted to foster the quality lineage of Siemon's Glen, Black Bart and Jen Jack which has proven itself on the ground again and again. Currently standing at stud is Mirage's son Mas Ass Acres Remade in the Shade. "Rits" as we call him exemplifies all the fine qualities one hopes for in a Mammoth Jack; he is gregarious, affectionate, willing and very forward. He throws both beautiful confirmation and disposition. "Rits" is successful as both a breeding jack and a show participant. We enforce a very conscientious breeding program, concentrating on disposition, confirmation and soundness, as well as size and color. We breed for potential show prospects, as well as athletic, personable and loving companion animals. All of our stock are registered with ADMS and ACOSA if they are spotted. Our healthcare program guarantees each of our animals receive valuable vet care, dental care, worming, vaccinating, farrier care and feed management. Our experience in breeding, foaling and raising donkeys since 1990 has proven that love and respect for donkeys pays off.

Promotion of the American Donkey is one of the most enjoyable aspects of our goals here at Mas Ass Acres. Whether it is talking about the comical and joyful nature of the Miniature Donkey to a small group of retirees, or attending a parade or show with one of our Mammoth Jackstock, we love to promote donkeys! We take as many opportunities as possible to educate the public about donkeys and display their innate intelligence, willingness and athleticism.
